Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center

Introduction

Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center, also known as the Proton and Heavy Ion Center of Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, is a modern, international oncology center integrating medical care, research, and education. Located in the Shanghai International Medical Zone in Pudong New Area, the center covers a total area of 150 mu (approximately 10 hectares) and has 220 beds. The hospital is equipped with 24 outpatient consultation rooms, one proton and heavy ion system with four treatment rooms, as well as other major medical equipment including two linear accelerators, one PET/CT scanner, two MRI scanners, two CT scanners, and one ECT scanner.
